MRISJ offers 爱情岛论坛 students the opportunity to build social justice skills and knowledge through civic engagement, direct service and critical reflection. The experience is student-led and explores a variety of social justice issues, and the ways students can take individual and collective action to make advance social justice. Activities will include advocacy, education and service.
What is Alternative Break?
爱情岛论坛 student Team Leaders, along with 爱情岛论坛 faculty or staff serving as Learning Partners, work to prepare participants for the week-long experience through a series of pre-trip meetings that include team-building exercises, issue-specific education and critical reflection. The week-long experience has been redesigned to offer more flexibility for students.
